Spongeworthy was founded by two best friends, both named Ben, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We grew up surfing and spending as much time in the ocean as possible. Over the years, we started noticing more plastic in the water and on our local beaches, and it made us realise how much everyday products contribute to the problem.

We created Spongeworthy to offer a better alternative — beautifully designed kitchen essentials made from natural, renewable materials like luffa and cellulose. Our goal is simple: help reduce plastic waste without compromising on performance, quality, or style.
